Children’s Art

Ages: 6-14 years

Through projects in painting, drawing and sculpture, students will learn art from a broad perspective, emphasizing color theory and covering various art techniques as well as art history.

Figure Drawing: Open Studio 

Tuesdays, October 18-Dec 13
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm 
(eight 2-hour sessions)
(no class on November 15)
Ages: 18 & up
Draw or paint the figure from a live clothed or nude model. A monitor will direct the model to change poses and provide guidance.
Drop-in fee $10.00 per class. (Please RSVP if planning to

Monotype Printmaking Workshop

Wednesdays, November 2-16
Time: 6:30–9:00 pm
(three 2 ½-hour sessions)
Ages 14 & up

A fusion of painting and printmaking, monotypes are experimental, mixed-media approach to creating one-of-a-kind images. Beginners or advanced students are welcome.

Screen Printing

Instructor: Josh Bindewald
Thursdays, October 20-Nov 10
Time: 6:30–9:00 pm
(four 2 1/2-hour sessions)
Ages 14 & up

Screen printing is a simple, user friendly printmaking technique that can be used to print a series of virtually identical images onto just about any surface. Students in this course will learn the fundamentals of screen printing including creating stencils, exposing screens, registration methods, printing onto paper and t-shirts, and reclaiming screens.
