Mixed Medium Sculpture
Child abuse, political corruption and corporate greed. Those are just some of the subjects I address in my art. I like to make sculpture about things that touch me emotionally.
I was introduced to the art world several years ago by my wife Nikole. Preston Jackson was teaching a class on Sunday nights at the CAC and she brought me along. I knew immediately that this was right for me. It was a seemingly unlimited way to express myself in a tangible way. My only limitation would be my imagination!
Over the years I have learned to use many types of materials to construct my sculptures. I prefer steel but also work in wood, clay, fiberglass, paper and found objects. Whatever the piece needs to tell I it’s story.
I share a loft studio at the CAC with my wife and I also work in my home studio.
