It held generations of trinkets photographs and of course jewelry. She would let me try on her rings, and layer necklaces all around my neck. The stories of each piece, I will forever remember. My necklaces are crocheted with artist wire. Each necklace celebrates and honors the generations of women that came before us by using vintage reclaimed jewelry pieces and vintage beads mixed and mingled with new beads and findings. With each necklace that I create, I re-live the feeling of being a little girl playing with my mother’s jewelry. It is my desire that these pieces remind the wearer of their own unique beauty and gives a feeling of relationship to their generations past. Originals: |
